La Banque africaine de développement abritera une conférence ministérielle de haut niveau sur le financement de la santé à l'Hôtel Ramada Plaza, en Tunisie, les 4 et 5 juillet 2012. Cette conférence est organisée par les Dispositifs d'harmonisation pour la santé en Afrique (Harmonization for Health in Africa mechanism, HHA), en collaboration avec l'Union africaine et la Commission économique des Nations Unies pour l'Afrique. Elle mettra l'accent sur l’impérieuse nécessité de tirer le meilleur parti des ressources disponibles pour accélérer les progrès vers les Objectifs du millénaire pour le développement relatifs à la santé, et au-delà.

The AfDB is Sponsoring a multi-stakeholder conference in Nairobi Kenya on the 18th and 19th of April 2012. Hosted by the Government of Kenya, in collaboration with Anadach Consulting Group and Tele-Health Society of Kenya, the conference will identify best practices and lessons learned from previous experiences of developing national eHealth strategies. One of the first of its kind in Africa, the event will also focus on integrating mHealth into eHealth strategy implementation.

The African Development Bank (AfDB) will be hosting, 1-5 December 2009 in Tunis, the 4th Annual Meeting of the Harmonization for Health in Africa (HHA) initiative. What is exceptional about this year’s meeting is that it will convene a special two-day session involving Permanent Secretaries from Ministries in charge of Finance and Health from over a dozen African countries to deliberate on the Investment Case for Health Expenditures in Africa and to explore strategies to enhance coordination between these ministries.
