23/04/2012 - Teams from Ethiopia, Kenya, Liberia, Mali, and Tanzania joined counterparts from around the world at the annual pilot countries meeting for the Scaling Up Renewable Energy Program in Low Income Countries (SREP) in Nairobi, Kenya from 5 to 7 March 2012. Held annually to provide a space for pilot countries to discuss experiences, lessons learned and best practices in developing and activating SREP investment plans, the meeting this year offered African nations the opportunity to showcase their progress in advancing initiatives in renewable energy.

08/03/2012 - I look forward to the day when I will no longer be referred to as the first and only female president in Africa. The women of Africa are empowering themselves and taking on leadership roles in all facets of society, and I am happy to serve as a role model and trailblazer for those who will come after me. As for balancing family life and my responsibilities as President, let me say that by the time I became President in 2006, my sons were all grown men, pursuing successful professional careers and with families of their own.
23/02/2012 - Between 5 and March 2012, teams from Ethiopia, Kenya, Mali, Liberia and Tanzania will be in Nairobi, Kenya, to attend the third meeting of pilot countries participating in the Scaling-up Renewable Energy Program (SREP), a Climate Investment Funds (CIF) program.

15/08/2011 - Les efforts du gouvernement libérien pour accélérer la croissance économique et réduire la pauvreté ont reçu un appui, le 11 août 2011, avec la signature de deux accords de don de 56 millions de dollars EU (35 millions d’unités de compte) visant à améliorer la gestion des finances publiques et la capacité d'entretien des infrastructures dans les travaux publics.

22/06/2011 - The Board of Directors of the African Development Bank (AfDB) Group on Tuesday approved a USD 48-million budget support grant to finance Liberia’s Economic Governance and Competitiveness Support Program. The grant is provided from the Bank’s Fragile State Facility.

20/12/2010 - La Banque africaine de développement (BAD), l’Institut monétaire oust-africain (IMAO) et la Banque centrale du Liberia (CBL) ont lancé au Libéria le système de paiements de la Zone monétaire ouest-africaine, sur un don supplémentaire de 5 millions d’unités de compte (7,6 millions de dollars EU).

10/11/2010 - Le Conseil d'administration du Fonds africain de développement (FAD), le guichet concessionnel de la Banque africaine de développement (BAD), a octroyé à Tunis, le mardi 9 novembre 2010, un don de 7,8 millions de dollars EU (5 millions d'UC) à l'Institut monétaire ouest-africain (IMAO), pour couvrir les coûts supplémentaires résultant de l'extension du projet de l'Institut au Libéria.

06/10/2010 - Le Conseil d'administration de la Banque africaine de développement (BAD) a approuvé, le mercredi 6 octobre 2010, une enveloppe financière pour l’allégement de la dette pour le Libéria, en notant que le pays a réuni les conditions et les modalités stipulées dans l’Initiative en faveur des pays pauvres très endettés (PPTE) et l'Initiative d’allégement de la dette multilatérale (IADM).
