18/12/2012 - Le Directeur du Nepad, de l’Intégration régionale et du Commerce à la Banque africaine de développement (BAD), Alex Rugamba et le Ministre d’Etat centrafricain au Plan et à l’Economie, Abdou Karim Mékassoua, ont signé, le 17 décembre à Tunis, un protocole d’accord relatif à la première phase du projet d’interconnexion des réseaux électriques de la République centrafricaine et de la République démocratique du Congo à partir du système hydroélectrique de Boali.

12/12/2012 - The Board of Directors of the African Development Bank (AfDB) has approved a seven-year multi-currency line of credit for an amount equivalent to USD 300 million to FirstRand Bank Limited (FRB) of South Africa to finance a wide range of projects in local currencies and across Africa.

05/12/2012 - The Board of Directors of the African Development Bank, on November 21, approved the Uganda Support to Higher Education, Science and Technology Project, a key Human Development operation that will contribute to the economic and social transformation of Uganda and the East African sub-region. In line with Uganda’s National Development Plan for 2011-2015, the project aims to turn the country into a regionally competitive industrial economy by 2025 by developing skills and investing in science and technology.

29/11/2012 - La Banque africaine de développement, représenté par son Vice-président, Ndoumbe Lobé et le Ministre tunisien de l’Investissement et de la Coopération internationale, Riadh Bettaieb, ont signé un accord de prêt pour le financement d’un Programme d’appui à la relance économique et au développement inclusif (PARDI) de la Tunisie d’un montant de 387,6 millions d’euros, suite à l’approbation du prêt par le Conseil d’Administration de la BAD, en sa réunion du 28 octobre 2012.

23/11/2012 - On Tuesday 20th November 2012, the AfDB signed a US$ 0.26 million protocol agreement with Mamaoun Beheiry Centre for Economic and Social Studies and Research (MBC), a policy think-tank in Khartoum named after the first President of the Bank. The grant was approved by the Nigeria Technical Cooperation Fund (NTCF). The agreement was then signed by the Bank’s Resident Representative for Sudan, Mr. Abdul B. Kamara, and the Director of MBC, Dr. Sayed Ali Zaki, at a special ceremony presided over by His Excellency Ali Mahmound Abdelrasoul, Minister of Finance and National Economy.
