19/03/2013 - Le Groupe de la Banque africaine de développement (BAD) a organisé les 12 et 13 mars 2013 à Rabat au Maroc une conférence régionale sur l’employabilité des diplômés de l’enseignement supérieur. Le but de la conférence était d’amener les pays à repenser de manière efficace les politiques de réformes de l’enseignement supérieur, en vue d’assurer une employabilité accrue aux diplômés.

05/02/2013 - The African Development Bank (AfDB) signed on Tuesday, January 29, 2013 an agreement to provide two sovereign-guaranteed multi-tranche lines of credit (LoCs) of respectively US $500 million to Bank of Industry (BOI) and of US $200 million to Nigerian Export-Import Bank (NEXIM) in order to support the modernization and expansion of export-oriented small and medium enterprises (SMEs). The LoCs will allow local SMEs to be more competitive, scale up their operations and ultimately create more jobs in Nigeria.

11/01/2013 - Somen Debnath, a 29-year old Indian cyclist, presented his “Around the World Bicycle Tour for HIV/AIDS Awareness Program and Seminars on Indian Culture” on Thursday, January10, 2013 to African Development Bank staff in Tunis. Cycling from Morocco and Algeria, he just arrived in Tunisia where he intends to meet with schools, NGOs as well as the Tunisian President and Government officials representing Ministries of Education, Health, Youth, and Sports.
