Description

The rehabilitation and upgrade of an integrated pulp and paper mill which makes newsprint and related mechanical papers from its 16,000 hectares tree plantation in Southeastern Nigeria. Established in the 1986 as a government-owned company, the paper mill and plantations were acquired by Negris Group in August 2008 in a privatization process. The mill complex is expected to be reactivated in 2014 with an annual production capacity of 120,000 tons that will gradually reach 190,000 tons over a 10-year period.
