Mohammed Ghannouchi is the 32nd Prime Minister of Tunisia, a position he has held since November 17, 1999. From 1992 to 1999 he was Minister of International Co-operation and Foreign Investment, and before he held many Ministerial positions, especially of Economy and Finance. Mohammed Ghannouchi holds a Master degree in Economics from the University of Tunis. He is very well-known in the International Finance area since he has represented Tunisia for some years at the Annual Meetings of the World Bank and of the African Development Bank, and he has participated in many negotiations with the World Bank, the IMF and the European Community. He is the Vice-President of the Democratic Constitutional Rally party.
