Prof. Melvin Ayogu

Prof. Ayogu is an Associate of the Chartered Institute of Bankers, London, Senior Fellow at the Center  for  Public  Policy  Alternatives,  Lagos,  MISTRA  Fellow  at  Mapungubwe Institute  for Strategic  Reflection,  South  Africa,  and  Adjunct  Professor  at  the  Graduate  School  of  Business, University  of  Cape  Town. 

He  served  as  Visiting  Professor  of  Economics  and  Director  of  the EMBA  Program  at  the  American  University  of  Sharjah,  United  Arab  Emirates. 

His  research focuses  on  governance,  infrastructure,  governance-capital  flight  nexus,  and  economic development.

Among other scholarly work, he co-authored Development Dilemmas: The Methods and Political Ethics of Growth Policy (with Don Ross, Routledge 2005).
