Dr. Temitope W. Oshikoya

Dr. Temitope W. Oshikoya, an economist and a chartered accountant, is the Managing Principal of Nextnomics Advisory, an economic and financial consulting firm. 

He has over two decades of experience in private sector, public sector, consulting, and academia including as Director General, West African Monetary Institute, Senior Advisor to Group CEO at Ecobank Transnational Incorporated, Chief Economist at Africa Finance Corporation, a Director at the African Development Bank, and a consultant to the World Bank and other institutions.

A commonwealth scholar, he holds PhD Economics (McMaster University), MBA, Finance & Strategy (University of Liverpool), B.Sc. first class honour degree in Economics (Ahmadu Bello University), and a Postgraduate Certificate in Corporate and Financial Laws (University of London).  He is a member of Association of Chartered Certified Accountant (ACCA, UK), Certified Management Accountant, (CMA, USA), and Fellow Chartered Institute of Bankers (FCIB).

He is a widely published leader of thought, with 4 books, 30 op-eds, and over 50 technical and policy articles in professional journals. His fifth book on Frontier Capital Markets and Investment Banking is forthcoming in 2019 in Routledge’s Banking, Money and International Finance Series. He has served on the editorial boards of and refereed for several professional journals.
