High Street Shops
Most shops are open from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. - Monday to Saturday (though small shops are usually closed on Saturday afternoon).

- Avenida da Liberdade / Rua Castilho
A large avenue in the heart of the city offers green areas, cafés, restaurants and many brand clothing shops.
- Baixa / Chiado
The oldest quarter of the city offers various selections of shops. There are many old Portuguese shops, clothing, shoes, accessories, bookstores, handicraft, decoration, leather, jewellery and famous cafés in this area.
- Amoreiras Shopping Centre
Opening hours: every day between 10 a.m. and 11 p.m. (stores and restaurants). Some services close at 10 p.m.

- Armazéns do Chiado
Opening hours: every day between 10 a.m. and 10 p.m. (stores) 11 p.m. (restaurants).

- Galerias Saldanha Residence
Opening hours: every day between 10 a.m. and 11 p.m.

How to get there: Saldanha (Yellow Line)
- Vasco da Gama Shopping Centre
Located in the newest city centre, Expo, near the River Tagus, it is a perfect shopping place with 156 shops and 35 restaurants.
Opening hours: every day between 10 a.m. and 12 p.m. (some of the stores open at 9 a.m.)

How to get there: Oriente (Red Line)
- Colombo Shopping Centre
Located next to Benfica Football Stadium, the biggest shopping centre in the Iberian Peninsula makes it a worthwhile visit. It has 3 floors with 437 shops and 69 restaurants.
