Ms. Tanja Faller joined the African Development Bank in 2009, and currently works as an Energy Economist in the Energy, Environment and Climate Change department. Her main focus is on renewable energy projects in North Africa. Previously, she has worked in the area of innovation and technology transfer in the World Bank’s Latin America region, where she was involved in advisory work and investment operations dealing with technology transfer and innovation systems in Nicaragua, Chile, Guatemala, Honduras and Argentina. Earlier work experiences included research for an infrastructure focused insurance company in her native Germany. Tanja graduated with a Masters degree in International Economics from Johns Hopkins University, Washington DC, and holds an M.A. in Economics and Political Science from the University of Cologne, Germany.
