Review of Literature in the public domain

As part of the preparation of background documents for the Bank’s Review of Procurement Policy, the ORPF undertook a review of literature from the public domain including the World Bank’s review of its procurement policy. The specific objectives were to examine, analyse, synthesise, and to summarise available relevant background material concerning the themes of public procurement policy, performance, governance, harmonization, fraud and corruption as well as innovations in public procurement, sustainable and green public procurement, to inform the Bank’s exercise. Six documents were compiled which are published on this Website. Readers are informed that the summaries have been prepared by a Consultant and the views expressed therein are strictly those of the Consultant and not of the Bank.
