At the heart of COP22, a space dedicated to Africa
Organized jointly by the African Development Bank (AfDB), the African Union Commission (AUC), the New Partnership for Africa's Development (NEPAD), and the United Nations Economic Commission for Africa (ECA) at each COP since COP17 in Durban, the Africa Pavilion represents the unity of the continent and its determination to address the challenges of climate change.
It is also a platform to highlight calls by the 54 countries in Africa to better defend their interests in the global fight against climate change.
Located in the blue zone, the Africa Pavilion is a place for open debate, discussion and information. During the two weeks of COP22 the Africa Pavilion will display a dense and varied program (roundtables, conferences, bilateral debates) that showcases the specific problems of climate change that affect Africa from various perspectives.
