28/08/2013 - The African Development Bank (AfDB) and the Government of Djibouti on Monday, August 26, signed the funding agreements, totalling US $7.5 million, for a geothermal exploration project in the region of Lake Assal.

13/12/2004 - Tunis, 13 December 2004 – The African Development Fund (ADF) has approved two loan agreements of US$ 32 million (UA 20.88 million) and US$ 27 million (UA 17.60 million) provided to Ethiopia and Djibouti respectively to finance a Multinational Power Interconnection Project.
