11/02/2019 - African Development Bank President Akinwumi Adesina, held several high-level bilateral meetings on the sidelines of the 32nd Ordinary Session of the Assembly of the African Union. Adesina met with His Excellency Andrei Rajoelina, President of Madagascar and His Majesty Letsie III, King of Lesotho.
08/02/2019 - The Climate Investment Funds’ “The Power of 10: Shaping the Future of Climate Action” event took place on 28-29 January, 2019 in Ouarzazate, Morocco at the Noor concentrated solar power complex, the largest plant of its type in the world, providing renewable energy to more than 2 million households. The summit convened over 300 climate leaders from the public and private sectors for action-oriented dialogue on fighting climate change.

08/01/2019 - The African Development Bank and the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) signed on 8th January a loan agreement with the Ministry of Development, Investment and International Cooperation (MDICI) and the National Office for Sanitation (ONAS) to finance the sanitation programme for small municipalities with fewer than 10,000 inhabitants.
