EOI - Namibia - Technical Assistant/Adviser (Advisory/ Project Management) - Transport Infrastructure Improvement Project


The Government of the Republic of Namibia has received financing from the African Development Bank towards the cost of the Transport Infrastructure Improvement Project, and intends to apply part of the agreed amount for this loan to payments under the contract for Technical Assistant/Adviser – Advisory/ Project Management services.

The services included under this project are the support to the Ministry of Works and Transport, as the Executing Agency of the project, in the management of the project. The Individual Consultant shall be engaged as a Technical Assistant for Advisory/ Project Management to support the Executing Agency on a day-to-day basis over a period of 18 months, in the management of the project. The project encompasses two main interventions, viz.; (i) Upgrade of the Walvis Bay – Tsumeb railway line (Walvis Bay – Kranzberg Section) and (ii) Upgrade of Windhoek to Hosea Kutako International Airport Road – Section 2A.  The Technical Assistant shall primarily support the Ministry in the management of the railway intervention, and is to be on a full time contractual basis for a period of 18 months, subject to a review after 12 month.
