Nigeria - Study for Cross River State Rural Access and Mobility Project Phase 2 (CR – RAMP 2) - Project Appraisal Report
In 2008, the Cross River State (CRS) Government, through the Federal Government of Nigeria (FGN), received a loan from the Africa Development Bank (ADB) to construct and/or rehabilitate a total of 477km of rural roads under the Rural Access and Mobility Project (RAMP) scheme. Owing to the huge success of this project, which was completed in 2016, a second phase of RAMP has been proposed. Consequently, the Federal Government of Nigeria (FGN) applied for the reallocation of 70% of cancelled loan balances to conduct preliminary studies as well as detailed Engineering designs for the second phase referred to as Cross River State Rural Access and Mobility Project – Phase 2 (CR – RAMP 2). The CR – RAMP 2 study will include Technical and Economic Feasibility Study, including Environmental and Social Impact Assessment, and Detailed Engineering Design, and preparation of Tender Documents for some 500 km of rural roads in the 18 Local Government Areas (LGAs) of Cross River State.
