Sudan Economic Report - After Two Decades of "Solitude" Targeted strategies for quick economic wins

This Sudan Country Economic Report, the first in a new series, confirms that it is time for the country to generate, borrow, and use the best ideas out there. It shows that the permanent removal of U.S. economic sanctions creates an incentive for the government to deepen policy reforms. That would strengthen the case for heavily indebted poor countries (HIPC) debt relief, which might enlarge the fiscal space, attract more concessional financing, and help reintegrate Sudan into the global economy.
