Tunisia - Inclusive regional dvelopment support Programme (Padri) - Appraisal Report
PADRI aimed to contribute to strong and inclusive growth by reducing regional disparities and promoting regional inclusion. The programme was expected to support major reforms initiated by the Government aimed at: (i) improving the economic inclusion of 16 priority governorates; (ii) strengthening social inclusion at local and regional levels and (iii) supporting local and regional governance. The programme was also intended to help reduce regional disparities by contributing to the decentralization process and decreasing the unemployment rate from 15% in 2015 to 14% in 2018 through an increase in the graduate employment rate from 68.6% in 2014 to 70% in 2018.
