GCA Africa

Responding to a growing demand for adaptation action, regional offices of the Global Center on Adaptation (GCA) are being established to ensure close links to and collaboration with countries in each region for the implementation of global initiatives, while also developing customized programs and actions to local priorities.
The Global Center on Adaptation is co-chaired by H.E. Ban ki-Moon and Mr. Feike Sijbesma and has the President of the African Development Bank Akinwumi Adesina as a member of the Board.
