The African Development Bank has decided to jump in and support Abdoulaye, who has for the past five years self-financed her animal feed company Salma, which employs 10 people.

On Wednesday, April 17, 2019, the Government of the Republic of Côte d’Ivoire will host the first Women Entrepreneurs Finance Initiative (We-Fi) West Africa Regional Summit. 12/02/2019 - The African Development Bank and UN Women held their fourth steering committee meeting on 8 February 2019 in Abidjan, Cote d’Ivoire. The two institutions signed a memorandum of understanding in March 2016 and have since then implemented a joint roadmap to advance gender equality on the African continent. This steering committee meeting aimed to review progress and define next steps in the partnership.
