21-Dec-2017 - In support of the Egyptian Government’s efforts to ensure safe living conditions, the African Development Bank has approved financing amounting to US$ 150 million for the expansion of the essential waste-water treatment plant at Abu Rawash in the Giza Governorate. The funding targets a total treatment capacity of 1.6 million m3/day, intended to benefit over eight million people.

La Banque africaine de développement (BAD) a en effet décidé, vendredi 15 décembre 2017, à Abidjan, en Côte d’Ivoire, d’accorder un don de 16,7 millions d’euros afin d’assurer le financement de la composante centrafricaine du projet de la Dorsale à fibre optique d’Afrique centrale (CAB). L’Union européenne (UE) contribuera, pour sa part, à hauteur de 16,6 millions d’euros à ce projet d’un coût total d’investissement de 33,3 millions d’euros.
