African Development Bank calls on Ministers to prioritize energy sector development
21-Mar-2017 - The Ministerial segment of the African Union’s first Specialized Technical Committee (STC) on Transport, Intercontinental and Interregional Infrastructures, Energy and Tourism brought together over 40 Ministers from the concerned sectors in Lomé, Togo. The STC was organized by the African Union Commission in collaboration with the Government of Togo and with the support of the African Development Bank. 14-Mar-2017 - On Wednesday, March 8, 2017, the African Development Bank (AfDB), rated Aaa (Moody’s) / AAA (S&P) / AAA (Fitch), launched and priced a new USD 2.5 billion 3-year Global benchmark transaction due March 16, 2020. The new 3-year issue is AfDB’s first USD Global benchmark transaction this year, following a EUR 1 billion 7-year benchmark transaction priced in January.
