25/03/2016 - La Banque africaine de développement (BAD) a organisé, le 23 mars 2016 à Abidjan, en Côte d'Ivoire, un atelier sur la compétitivité en Afrique de l'Ouest francophone. Cet atelier s'est appuyé sur les conclusions du Rapport 2015 sur la compétitivité en Afrique, qui s'intitule " Transformer les économies d'Afrique. ". Ce rapport biennal est une publication conjointe de la BAD, du Forum économique mondial, de la Banque mondiale et, depuis 2015, de l'Organisation de coopération et de développement économiques (OCDE).

29/02/2016 - La Banque africaine de développement (BAD), le Gouvernement espagnol et le Fonds d’équipement des Nations Unies (en anglais, UNCDF), à travers le Fonds de renforcement des capacités de la microfinance, ont octroyé un don d’un montant de 241 millions de francs CFA (368 000 euros) au Consortium Alafia (l’Association professionnelle des systèmes financiers décentralisés), pour le financement du Projet d’appui à la transparence des institutions de microfinance (PATIMF).

02/12/2015 - Africa sent an unequivocal message of solidarity and unity of purpose at the official opening of the Africa Pavilion at the UNFCCC COP 21 in Paris on Tuesday. Speaking at the high-level opening, President Thomas Yayi Boni of Benin was resolute that the Africa is not at the negotiating table with a begging bowl.

07/10/2015 - Le Conseil d’administration de la Banque africaine de développement (BAD) a approuvé le 7 octobre 2015, le projet d’appui à la production vivrière et de renforcement de la résilience (PAPVIRE-ABC) au Bénin qui couvre les départements de l’Alibori, du Borgou et des Collines, trois circonscriptions assez vulnérables du Nord du pays.

23/09/2015 - The African Development Bank (AfDB) Group has approved a combined US $30 million soft loan to Benin, Côte d'Ivoire and Ethiopia to be utilized for membership subscriptions in the African Trade Insurance Agency (ATI). This is a critical step and a prerequisite for ATI to commence its operations within these countries. Under the approvals, Benin and Ethiopia will each receive US $7.50 million, whilst Côte d'Ivoire will receive US $15.0 million.

18/09/2015 - The African Development Bank (AfDB) has placed energy squarely on the front burner of its development agenda, for a continent on which some 645 million, more than half of the population, do not have access to reliable electricity. Africa’s “energy poverty” is a paradox, given that the continent is blessed with vast raw energy resources. A two-day debate on the subject ended in Abidjan on Friday.

16/09/2015 - African Development Bank Group President, Akinwumi A. Adesina, received Benin’s President, Thomas Boni Yayi, on September 15, 2015 at the Bank’s headquarters in Abidjan. Boni Yayi said he “had come to deliver a congratulatory message to the AfDB’s newly elected President.” He also said Benin needs the Bank’s assistance in vital sectors such as energy, transport and agriculture.
