25/09/2009 - The Board of the African Development Bank (AfDB) Group approved today an important financial package worth USD 190 million to link up Congo and Cameroon. This funding from the African Development Fund, the concessional window of the AfDB Group, comprises a grant of 61.9 million Units of Account (USD 97 million) and a loan of UA 59.27 millions (USD 93 million).
25/11/2008 - Le conseil d’administration du Fonds africain de développement (Groupe de la BAD) a approuvé un prêt de 310 millions de dollars US (188,64 millions d’unités de compte - UC) en faveur du Cameroun et du Nigeria ainsi qu’un don de 26,5 millions de dollars US (16,16 millions d’UC) en faveur de la CEDEAO pour la mise en œuvre du programme de facilitation du transport sur le corridor Bamenda-Mamfe-Abakaliki-Enugu.
26/06/2008 - The African Development Bank (AfDB) Group President, Donald Kaberuka, attended the 9th Summit of Heads of State and Government of the Economic Community of Central African States (ECCAS) which took place from June 24-25, 2008, in Yaounde, Cameroon. The event was chaired by Cameroon’s President and current chairman of the sub-regional organization, Paul Biya.
22/02/2008 - The African Development Bank (AfDB) Group and Cameroon signed an agreement for a loan of 48 million Units of Account (UA*), equivalent to US$ 76.57 million (FCFA 36 billion) to finance the Douala-Bangui and Douala Ndjamena road corridor, linking Cameroon, the Central African Republic (CAR) and Chad.
23/05/2007 - The African Development Bank (AfDB) Group President, Donald Kaberuka, was on May 22, 2007, received in audience by Cameroon’s President, Paul Biya.
15/11/2006 - The Board of Directors of the ADF, the concessional window of the AfDB Group, will support the development of road infrastructure project in Cameroon with the approval of a loan of US$ 66.15 million to finance the Numba-Bachuo Akagbe Road Development Project in the South West Province of the country.
17/05/2006 - An agreement was signed on 16 May 2006 in Ouagadougou between Mr. Donald Kaberuka, President of the African Development Bank Group, and Mr. Abah Abah Polycarpe, Cameroon’s Minister of Finance. The Agreement provides for the establishment of an African Development Bank Regional Office in Cameroon.
10/05/2006 - The ADF approved a loan of 60 million Euros to finance a project to improve electricity supply and network efficiency in Cameroon.
