09/01/2019 - La Commission européenne et la Banque africaine de développement ont procédé,- à la signature de deux accords de co-financement, au profit du projet d’interconnexion électrique entre le Cameroun et le Tchad et de la Dorsale transsaharienne à fibre optique (DTS). C’était le jeudi 20 décembre 2018, au siège de la Commission européenne à Bruxelles.

20/12/2018 - Approximately 64% of the African Continent is found within a transboundary river or lake basin, or sits on a transboundary aquifer, containing 805 freshwater resources. As climate change exacerbates challenges already inherent in Africa’s hydrological cycle, and affects different parts of a watershed differently, it is clear that there is a need to highlight the importance of transboundary perspectives in adaptation and decision-making, and support efforts to include these within states planning and actions, including finance activities.

07/11/2018 - In a bid to improve the resilience of the people and ecosystems of the Niger River Basin, the Board of Directors of the African Development Bank, has approved US$76 million for the integrated development and climate change adaptation in the Niger Basin.

18/07/2018 - Une importante délégation de l’Unité de coordination de l’Alliance Sahel (UCA) a entamé, mercredi 18 juillet 2018, une visite de travail de deux jours dans les locaux de la Banque africaine de développement à Abidjan, en Côte d’Ivoire. L’Alliance Sahel, un partenariat lancé en juillet 2017 à Paris par plusieurs bailleurs de fonds, vise à atteindre plus rapidement des résultats de développement dans les pays du G5 Sahel : Burkina Faso, Mali, Mauritanie, Niger et Tchad.

16/04/2018 - For the first time ever, the African Development Bank has released summaries of the African Economic Outlook (AEO), its main flagship report, in three African languages: Arabic, Hausa and Kiswahili. These three languages are among the most widely spoken by over 300 million Africans. Releasing the report in local languages aims to increase accessibility of the publication’s findings to a large segment of Africans and promote linguistic inclusiveness. This release is also the latest innovation for increasing the relevance and timeliness of the African Economic Outlook.

11/12/2017 - La libre circulation des biens et des personnes entre le Cameroun et le Tchad prend forme, de plus en plus. Lundi 11 décembre 2017, feu vert a été donné à la Banque africaine de développement, pour financer à hauteur de 66 millions d’euros la construction d’un pont qui, enjambant le fleuve Logone, va relier les villes de Yagoua (Cameroun) et de Bongor (Tchad).
