13/12/2016 - La Banque africaine de développement (BAD) a réaffirmé, mardi 13 décembre 2016 à Tunis, en Tunisie, sa volonté de travailler étroitement avec les organisations de la société civile (OSC), pour mieux les associer à la mise en œuvre de ses projets de développement en tirant parti de leur expertise et expérience du terrain. Tunis constituait la dernière étape des consultations régionales que mène la BAD avec les OSC.

09/12/2016 - The African Development Bank (AfDB)’s consultations with East African civil society organizations (CSOs) concluded on December 9 in Nairobi, Kenya, with participants saying that they are now better equipped to deliver results.

For Caroline Wahome of the Kenya-Based Hivos-People Unlimited said the workshop was very useful. “The meeting has helped us to seize a better picture of the African Development Bank’s work in various countries. The presentation on procurement was about access to information. The procurement rules and procedures need to be taken to grassroots people, and to CSOs located in rural areas, even though they may not have the possibility to bid.”

07/12/2016 - The African Development Bank’s (AfDB) series of regional consultations meeting with Civil Society Organizations (CSOs) continues across the continent. The East African leg opened on 7 December in Nairobi, Kenya with CSOs advocating for financial support from African source to deliver better on their development agenda and restore trust with government authorities.

She was speaking at the closing ceremony of the AfDB regional consultations meeting with Southern Africa civil society organizations (CSOs) on 30 November 30 in Johannesburg, South Africa.

29/11/2016 - The African Development Bank (AfDB) will organize from December 7 to 9, 2016 a regional consultation meeting with East African civil society organizations (CSOs) in Nairobi, Kenya, at Best Western Premier Nairobi. The meeting will be the fourth of a series of five regional consultations with African civil society organizations after the ones organized for West Africa in Dakar from 31 August to 2 September 2016, for Central Africa in Yaoundé from 28-30 September 2016 and for Southern Africa in Johannesburg from 28-30 November.
