01/10/2016 - The Pan African Farmers’ Organisation (PAFO) delegation, led by its President, Theo de Jager, paid a courtesy visit to the Bank Group on 30 September 2016 in Abidjan, to explore areas of collaboration with the Bank. The delegation held a series of technical meetings with the Bank’s Agriculture and agroindustry Department (OSAN), the Civil Society Organisation Division (CSO).

27/09/2016 - The African Development Bank’s consultations with Civil Society Organisations (CSOs) in the Central Africa region are currently underway in Yaoundé, Cameroun.

The September 26-28, 2016 discussions aim at enhancing cooperation between the two at regional and country levels in order to effectively support the Bank’s Regional Member Countries in delivering development programs.

12/08/2016 - In July 2016, Vigeo Eiris, one of the world’s leading Corporate and Social Responsibility (CSR) rating agencies, completed its biennial assessment of the African Development Bank (AfDB) and found the Bank’s overall CSR performance as advanced in absolute terms, a one notch upgrade from the previous rating of robust.

Cet atelier s'est appuyé sur les conclusions du Rapport 2015 sur la compétitivité en Afrique, qui s'intitule " Transformer les économies d'Afrique. ". Ce rapport biennal est une publication conjointe de la BAD, du Forum économique mondial, de la Banque mondiale et, depuis 2015, de l'Organisation de coopération et de développement économiques (OCDE).

14/03/2016 - A team of nine African Development Bank Executive Directors visited Malawi from March 6 to 11, 2016 on a high-level consultation and dialogue mission. During their visit, the Executive Directors met with President Arthur Peter Mutharika, Finance Minister Goodall Gondwe, Cabinet Ministers, Reserve Bank Governor Charles Chuka, the Speaker of Parliament, Richard Msowoya, senior government officials, representatives of the private sector and civil society, and development partners.
