14/12/2018 - Après deux années de récession due à la crise du secteur pétrolier, l’économie du Congo devrait retrouver des couleurs, avec un taux de croissance de 2 % attendu pour l’année 2018 et de 3,7 % pour 2019. Afin d’accompagner et de consolider le rebond économique du pays, la Banque africaine de développement a approuvé, jeudi 13 décembre 2018, un nouveau Document de stratégie pays (DSP) pour la période 2018-2022 visant à soutenir la diversification et la compétitivité de l’économie congolaise, en faveur d’une croissance inclusive et durable.
07/11/2018 - On the sidelines of the Africa Investment Forum, the African Development Bank and Africa50 have signed an agreement with the Democratic Republic of Congo and the Republic of Congo to develop and finance the first road-rail bridge project linking their capitals – Kinshasa and Brazzaville.
22/05/2016 - On Wednesday, May 18, 2016, the Board of Directors of the African Development Bank Group (AfDB) approved a EUR 52.04-million loan to the Government of the Republic of Congo to help finance the Congo component of the regional Central Africa fibre-optic Backbone (CAB) project. The loan will fund the deployment of fibre-optic telecommunications in Congo and the introduction of new e-services, benefiting to the Congolese population.
22/10/2015 - The Board of Director of the African Development Bank Group met in its ordinary session on October 21, 2015 in Abidjan, and approved the Ketta-Djoum road development and Yaoundé-Brazzaville corridor transport facilitation project-Phase 2, with a view to boosting economic and social development and regional integration in the Economic Community for Central African States area (ECCAS).
01/07/2015 - The Board of Directors of the African Development Bank Group (AfDB) on Wednesday, July 1, 2015 approved a US $22.5-million loan to the Republic of Congo to help finance the country’s Investment Climate and Forest Governance Support Project (PACIGOF).
11/11/2014 - "These trophies, which reflect our culture of excellence, are for those who have gone beyond the call of duty and have done excellent work in exceptional conditions", African Development Bank President Donald Kaberuka said during the inaugural AfDB Presidential Awards for Excellence which took place on Tuesday, November 11 in the Bank’s headquarters in Abidjan. Kaberuka added that the awards are a reflection of the good work by the staff of the Bank.
12/09/2014 - On September 12, 2014 in Abidjan, African Development Bank (AfDB) President Donald Kaberuka received the Congolese Minister of the Environment, Sustainable Development and the Forest Economy, Henri Djombo. Discussions focused essentially on cooperation between the Congo and AfDB, including issues of environmental protection.
27/02/2014 - It was in Congo that Donald Kaberuka, President of the African Development Bank (AfDB) Group, began his official visit to Central Africa, on February 24, 2014. Scheduled for four days, the visit concludes in Libreville, Gabon, on February 27.

24/02/2014 - African Development Bank (AfDB) President Donald Kaberuka is paying an official visit to Brazzaville in the Republic of the Congo and Libreville in Gabon from February 24 to 27, 2014 to reiterate the Bank’s commitment to continue and further cooperation with both countries.
