22/05/2016 - On Wednesday, May 18, 2016, the Board of Directors of the African Development Bank Group (AfDB) approved a EUR 52.04-million loan to the Government of the Republic of Congo to help finance the Congo component of the regional Central Africa fibre-optic Backbone (CAB) project. The loan will fund the deployment of fibre-optic telecommunications in Congo and the introduction of new e-services, benefiting to the Congolese population.

22/10/2015 - The Board of Director of the African Development Bank Group met in its ordinary session on October 21, 2015 in Abidjan, and approved the Ketta-Djoum road development and Yaoundé-Brazzaville corridor transport facilitation project-Phase 2, with a view to boosting economic and social development and regional integration in the Economic Community for Central African States area (ECCAS).

Kaberuka added that the awards are a reflection of the good work by the staff of the Bank.

19/12/2013 - Le Conseil d’administration de la Banque africaine de développement (BAD) a approuvé le 18 décembre 2013 à Tunis (Tunisie) un prêt de 152, 3 millions de dollars EU (100, 5 millions d’UC) en faveur du Gabon et la République de Congo. L’appui comprend 106,1 millions de dollars (70,0 millions d’UC) du guichet BAD en faveur du Gabon et 46,2 millions de dollars (30,49 millions d’UC) du Fonds africain de développement (FAD) en faveur du Congo.
