This important initiative aims at supporting recovery efforts in the region by addressing and investing in critical areas of infrastructure.

06-Dec-2018 - The African Development Bank and the Federal Government of Nigeria have launched the Inclusive Basic Service Delivery Livelihood Empowerment Integrated Programme ̶ a US$258 million comprehensive multisectoral intervention aimed at bolstering rehabilitation efforts in north-eastern Nigeria. Nigeria’s Vice President Yemi Osinbajo launched the program at the African Development Bank premises in Abuja on Thursday. 04-Dec-2018 - Working with Big Win Philanthropy and Aliko Dangote Foundation, the African Development Bank has unveiled a new Multi-Sectoral Nutrition Action Plan that aims at raising investments towards reducing stunting by 40% in African children aged under 5 by 2025. Africa loses $25 billion per year in costs attributed to child morbidity and mortality, impaired cognitive, physical, and economic development caused by malnutrition. 03-Dec-2018 - La Banque africaine de développement a accueilli une table ronde des partenaires techniques et financiers, le 30 novembre 2018 à Abidjan, sur le financement du Plan d’action de réinstallation (PAR 2) de la deuxième vague des populations concernées par le programme Kandadji, au Niger. Environ 436 millions de dollars américains, dont 60 millions de la Banque africaine de développement, chef de file des partenaires du programme Kandadji, ont été mobilisés pour la mise en œuvre de PAR 2, pour un besoin de 432 millions de dollars.
