06/09/2018 - The African Development Bank’s Independent Development Evaluation (IDEV) officially opened its biennial Development Evaluation Week on Thursday in Abidjan, Côte d’Ivoire, attended by more than 400 government policy- and decision-makers, representatives from development partners, research and academic institutions, evaluation associations and civil society. Bank shareholders, management and staff are also attending the three-day event.

03/11/2017 - More than 70 representatives of the private sector, governments, multilateral agencies, regional and sub-regional development banks, development institutions, academia, civil society, and the media in Africa met in Pretoria, South Africa from 30 to 31 October 2017 to participate in a knowledge sharing event hosted by the Independent Development Evaluation (IDEV) of the African Development Bank and the Evaluation Department at Norad (NoradDev).

17/07/2017 - The 3rd Annual General Meeting (AGM) of the African Parliamentarians’ Network on Development Evaluation (APNODE), held in Khartoum, Sudan, from July 15th to 17th, attracted 47 participants from 17 countries. Among these were three Speakers of Parliament (from Sudan, Ethiopia and Uganda), emphasizing the support that the network enjoys at the highest levels. Development partners including UN Women, the Centre for Learning on Evaluation and Results for Anglophone Africa (CLEAR-AA), and Independent Development Evaluation of the AfDB also participated.
