19/04/2019 - Pour lutter contre le travail des enfants dans les mines de cobalt en République démocratique du Congo (RDC), la Banque africaine de développement a approuvé, mercredi 17 avril 2019, un financement de 84,36 millions de dollars américains en faveur du Projet d’appui au bien-être alternatif des enfants et jeunes impliqués dans la chaîne d’approvisionnement du cobalt (PABEA-Cobalt).

27/06/2014 - Le Groupe de la Banque africaine de développement (BAD) et la Côte d’Ivoire, respectivement représentés par Janvier Kpourou Litse, directeur en charge du Nepad, de l’Intégration régionale et du commerce et Nialé Kaba, ministre ivoirien en charge de l’Economie et des Finances, ont procédé le 25 juin 2014 à Abidjan, à la signature de protocoles de dons relatifs au Programme d’appui au renforcement de l’inclusion et de la cohésion sociale (PARICS).

16/06/2014 - The African Development Bank’s (AfDB) Board of Executive Directors approved on Friday, June 13, 2014 in Tunis an African Development Fund (ADF) grant of US $46.2 million to support the social and economic reintegration of ex-combatants, the resolution of rural land conflicts and assistance to victims of the recent crisis in Côte d’Ivoire. The programme will be implemented over the fiscal years 2014 and 2015.

29/05/2014 - The Board of Executive Directors of the African Development Bank Group (AfDB) approved on 28 May, 2014 a Transport Sector Support Project for Senegal for the amount of UA 23.77 million (approximately 35.800 million dollars). The funding is provided through the African Development Fund (ADF) and will serve for the rehabilitation of the Dinguiraye-Nioro-Keur Ayib road in the Kaolack region.

09/05/2014 - On May 7, 2014, the African Development Bank’s (AfDB) Board of Executive Directors approved an African Development Fund (ADF) loan of US $76 million for a Skills, Employability and Entrepreneurship Program II (SEEP II) in Rwanda for three fiscal years ( FY2013/14, FY2014/13 and 2015/16).

30/04/2014 - The Board of Directors of the African Development Group approved on Wednesday, April 30, 2014 an African Development Fund (ADF) loan of US $23.0 million, a loan of US $7.7 million from the Nigerian Trust Fund (NTF), and a grant of US $4.8 million from the Rural Water Supply and Sanitation Facility to support Malawi’s implement the Sustainable Rural Water and Sanitation Infrastructure for Improved Health and Livelihoods Project. The project is aligned with the Malawi Growth and Development Strategy, the AfDB’s 2013-2017 Country Strategy Paper and the Bank’s Ten-Year strategy focusing on African transformation through inclusive and green growth.

24/04/2014 - Senegal will receive a combined African Development Fund loan and grant amounting to 18.74 billion CFA francs approved by the Fund’s Board on Wednesday, April 23, 2014 in Tunis, to finance the country’s Water and Sanitation Sector Project (PSEA).

07/04/2014 - The African Development Bank Group has approved a policy document on the Accelerated Repayment and Voluntary Prepayment of ADF Loans. Under the policy approved by the African Development Fund (ADF) Board in Tunis on Wednesday, April 2, 2014, the Fund will introduce an accelerated-repayment clause in all new loan agreements starting in ADF-13, and establish a framework for the voluntary prepayment of ADF loans.
