13/09/2013 - The African Development Bank (AfDB) and the French Development Agency (AFD) signed an Exchange of Letters on September 13, 2013, in Tunis. The Exchange of Letters was signed by the AfDB President, Donald Kaberuka, and the AFD Director General, Anne Paugam. The AfDB Executive Director for France, Belgium and Spain, François Kruger, was in attendance.

02/09/2013 - The African Development Bank (AfDB) and the Government of Sudan on Wednesday, August 28, 2013, signed two Protocol of Agreements in which the Bank provided Emergency Assistance of US $1 million to Flood Victims in Blue and White Nile States, and US $0.5 million to the University of Nyala to build research capacity for the Scientific Preservation of Livestock Breeds in Sudan.

30/07/2013 - Nizar Baraka, ministre marocain de l’Economie et des Finances, et Amani Abou-Zeid, représentante résidente du Groupe de la Banque africaine de développement (BAD) au Maroc, ont procédé, vendredi 26 juillet 2013 à Rabat, à la signature d’un accord de prêt d'un montant de 100 millions d’unités de compte (soit 116 millions d’euros), destiné à financer le Programme d'appui à l'adéquation formation emploi (PAAFE).

01/07/2013 - Le Royaume du Maroc a ratifié le 28 juin 2013 à Tunis l’accord portant création de la Facilité africaine de soutien juridique (ALSF), un instrument abrité par le Groupe de la Banque africaine de développement (BAD). La signature a été apposée par l’ambassadeur du Maroc en Tunisie, Mohamed Fredj Doukkali. La Facilité était représentée par Carmen Da Costa, Conseillère juridique et Secrétaire de la Facilité.

25/06/2013 - The African Development Bank (AfDB) Operations Vice-president, Zondo Sakala and the CEO of the International Islamic Liquidity Management Corporation (IILM), Rifaat Abdelkarim, on 24 June 2013 in Tunis inked a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU), to build robust partnership to promote liquidity management. This MoU signing comes on the heels of the AfDB’s new trust fund reform policy, shifting from bilateral to multi donor and thematic trust fund.
