26/06/2014 - The Board of Directors of the African Development Bank (AfDB) has approved a Framework Technical Cooperation Agreement (FTCA) between the AfDB and the Government of the United Kingdom. Under this agreement, the United Kingdom will donate two million GBP (US$ 3.35 million) in untied funds to AfDB over a five-year period. This donation will cover all cooperation activities of a technical assistance nature between the two partners.

07/05/2014 - The Board of Directors of the African Development Bank (AfDB) approved on Wednesday, May 7 in Tunis an unfunded US $50 million Risk Participation Agreement (RPA) with the Union de Banques Arabes et Françaises - U.B.A.F. to support trade origination capacities of African Issuing Banks. The facility will help address critical shortfall in commercial financing for trade in Africa and is expected to benefit such vital economic sectors such as agribusiness and light manufacturing.

09/01/2014 - Ce sont plus de 4 millions de personnes, résidant au Togo et au Ghana, entre Sogakopé et Lomé, qui bénéficieront d’un accès amélioré à l’eau potable, à l’issue d’un projet proposé par les gouvernements respectifs des deux pays. Et pour lequel ceux-ci ont reçu, le 20 décembre 2013, confirmation d’un don de 1,4 million d’euros de la Facilité africaine de l’eau (FAE).

12/07/2013 - The African Development Bank Group’s Board has approved the institution's participation in implementing a five-year Africa Action Plan for improving statistics for food security, sustainable agriculture and rural development. The Action Plan is part of a Global Strategy endorsed in 2010 by the UN Statistical Commission for improving the quality and quantity of agricultural statistics in Regional Member Countries (RMCs).

21/06/2013 - The African Development Bank’s Board of Executive Directors approved a Multi Donor Trust Fund of US$ $5.7million to support Value for Money, Sustainability and Accountability programs in Africa (VFM). The Fund has been created with the support of the Government of Norway and the Global Alliance for vaccines and Immunisation (GAVI) and will be administered by the African Development Bank.
