29-Sep-2004 - The ADF grant will be utilized to finance the procurement of goods and services for Airborne Geophysical Surveys (airborne data acquisition, compilation of information on surface and sub-surface geology, data processing, interpretation, quality control and publication of these data). It will also finance Laboratories and Geological Storage (procurement of relevant equipment for providing support services to mineral exploration and exploitation programs as well as setting up of rock sample labs and museum).

ADF Helps Mali Improve its Balance of Payments

19-Jul-2004 - The ADF loan is a balance of payments support for use in financing goods and services imports originating exclusively from ADB Group member countries. Amounting to 8.6 million units of account (US$ 12.63 million), the loan will facilitate the implementation of additional reform measures under the third Structural Adjustment Programme (SAP III) and the new Cotton Sector Action Plan.
