Kamal El Kheshen, et le Ministre tchadien de l’agriculture, M. Mbailou Naimbaye Lossimian ont, jeudi le 10 septembre à Tunis, signé deux protocoles d’accords portant sur deux différents dons, octroyés conjointement par la Banque africaine de développement et le Fonds africain de développement, des ressources de la Facilité des Etats fragiles, ressources destinées aux assistances techniques à ces pays.

07-Sep-2009 - Tunis, 2 September 2009 - The Board of Directors of the African Development Bank Group has approved a US$ 30 million loan to finance the Helios Shared Telecom Infrastructure Project in Nigeria.
The project consists of a countrywide expansion of a shared telecommunication infrastructure network. 03-Sep-2009 - Tunis, le 2 septembre 2009 – Le Conseil d’administration de la Banque africaine de développement (BAD), a approuvé, mercredi 2 septembre à Tunis, un prêt de 42,34 millions d’UC, équivalent à 87,83 million de dinars tunisiens (DT) (66,306 millions de dollars) en vue de financer le projet d’assainissement et de restructuration des réseaux de distribution d’électricité.
03-Sep-2009 - Tunis, 2 September 2008 – The African Development Bank (AfDB) Group Board of Directors has approved a loan of US$ 78 million, (50 million UA*), from the African Development Fund (ADF), to finance an Urban Water Supply and Sanitation Project (UWSSP) for Oyo and Taraba States.

31-Jul-2009 - Nairobi, Kenya – 31 July 2009- The African Development Bank (AfDB) has committed more than USD 38 million to Shelter Afrique in support of sustainable housing solutions in Africa. AfDB and Shelter Afrique signed a package of three financial agreements in Nairobi on 31 July 2009. Mrs. Domina Buzingo, Resident Representative of AfDB in Kenya, who signed on behalf of AfDB, indicated that the Bank “believes, it is through such collaboration that we can reach our development goals.”
22-Jul-2009 - Tunis, Tunisia, 20 July 2009 – Gabon’s efforts to enhance technical skills in potential growth sectors received the support of the African Development Bank (AfDB) Group on Wednesday in Tunis, where the institution’s Board of Directors approved a loan of CFAF 71.5 billion, equivalent to 99.30 million Units of Account (US$154 million) to finance a Public Services Higher Education and Vocational Training Support Project.
22-Jul-2009 - Tunis – 22 July 2009- The Board of Directors of the African Development Bank (AfDB) Group approved on Wednesday in Tunis, a senior loan of US$ 50 million to Zenith Bank Plc of Nigeria. This loan is aimed at revamping Zenith’s liquidity to cushion the effects of the financial crisis and lessen potential funding disruptions to vital ongoing projects in the infrastructure and industrial sectors.

22-Jul-2009 - Tunis, 22 July 2009 – The Board of Directors of the African Development Bank (AfDB) Group approved on Monday in Tunis, a Joint Country Partnership Strategy Paper (CPSP), prepared by the AfDB and the World Bank Group for the Central African Republic. The document sets out the common strategy, as well as the proposed financing operations program and analytical work of the two institutions for the CAR for 2009-2012.

16-Jul-2009 - Tunis, 15 July 2009 – The Board of Directors of the African Development Fund (ADF), the concessionary arm of the African Development Bank (AfDB) Group, on Wednesday in Tunis, approved a US$ 20.6 million loan, equivalent to 13.3 million Units of Account*, to finance the rehabilitation of the Massingir Dam in Mozambique.
16-Jul-2009 - Tunis, 15 July 2009 – Senegal will receive a loan of CFAF 32.4 billion, equivalent to US$ 69.85 million (UA 45 million), to finance the Dakar-Diamniadio highway construction project, approved by the Board of the African Development Fund (ADF), the concessionary window of the African Development Bank (AfDB) Group, on Wednesday in Tunis.
16-Jul-2009 - Tunis, 15 July 2009 – Guinea Bissau will get a US$ 12.10 million grant, equivalent to the Bank’s 7.8 million Units of Account*, to finance the country’s Administrative Capacity Building Support Project, approved by the Board on Wednesday in Tunis.
The project is designed to improve the supply, conditions and quality of vocational training in administration; help to build capacity in the economic, financial and administrative arms of the government as well as ensure the computerization of the public procurement management system.
