Il permettra également le désenclavement des zones de production en appui à la commercialisation des intrants et des produits agricoles.

19-May-2005 - This multinational project will benefit the Riparian states (Burundi, Democratic Republic of Congo, Tanzania and Zambia) and will serve as a pilot experiment for the Bank Group’s assistance to other regional entities in Africa. The project is intended to improve the social and health conditions of the people as well as the food situation in the Lake Tanganyika basin through the improvement of social and health conditions with the construction of health and educational infrastructures as well as the provision of more drinking water points.
