17/10/2014 - The Board of Directors of the African Development Bank Group on Wednesday, October 15 in Abidjan approved a US $40-million 10-year Line of Credit (LoC) for a pipeline of projects covering various economic sectors (agro/food, infrastructure, manufacturing, education sectors) in the East African Community (EAC) countries of Kenya, Rwanda, Tanzania and Uganda. The projects aim to promote economic growth.

29/05/2014 - The Agriculture Fast Track Fund (AFT) has awarded two grants worth almost US$650,000 to high value agriculture infrastructure projects in Tanzania. Tanga Fresh UHT Milk Factory and Kijani Agro Integrated Horticulture projects have been selected for their strong impact on local communities in Tanzania. They will be receiving funding to finance their market analyses, produce site surveys and other costs.
