Benin Reinforces Road Network

29-Sep-2004 - The Board of Directors of the ADF on Wednesday in Tunis approved a loan of 7.80 million Units of Account (UA), equivalent to 11.39 million US dollars to help finance intra-city roads and ancillary projects in Benin. The Project aims at improving the Pobe-Ketou-Illara road and living conditions of the population of the area. It is intended to improve the level of service of transport infrastructure with a view to strengthening regional economic integration and contribute to growth in national and international trade. ADF Helps Mali Improve its Balance of Payments

19-Jul-2004 - The ADF loan is a balance of payments support for use in financing goods and services imports originating exclusively from ADB Group member countries. Amounting to 8.6 million units of account (US$ 12.63 million), the loan will facilitate the implementation of additional reform measures under the third Structural Adjustment Programme (SAP III) and the new Cotton Sector Action Plan.

ADF, ECCAS sign grant agreement : institutional support project of the general secretariat of the ECCAS

17-Jan-2004 - The ADB Vice-President for Central and West operations, Mr. Bisi Ogunjobi and the ECCAS General Secretary, Louis Sylvain-Goma signed in Tunis a grant agreement of 2.59 million Units of Account (UA*), equivalent to 3.88 million US dollars to finance an institutional support project of the general secretariat of the ECCAS. The ADF grant will be used to revitalise and build the Secretariat’s ability to act in matter of economic integration and regional cooperation, through restructuring and implementation of its work programme.
