18/04/2014 - The Board of Directors of the African Development Bank Group met on Wednesday, April 16, 2014 in Tunis and approved a revised framework for the selection and prioritization of regional operations. The revised Regional Operations Selection and Prioritization Framework aims at selecting the most relevant operations eligible for funding under the Regional Operations incentive mechanism based on cost-sharing financing where the countries contribute to a portion of project costs from their Performance Based Allocations (PBAs) while the Bank finances the remaining portion.
08/04/2014 - Following the signing of the Capacity Building Project between the African Union Commission (AUC) and the African Development Bank during the meetings of the African Heads of State and Government held in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, in January 2014, the AfDB formally launched the project in Centurion, South Africa, on April 7, 2014.

13/12/2013 - Prospects for the construction of a 9,022-kilometre strategic Trans-Sahara Highway (TSH) linking several African countries was concretised on Wednesday, 11 December 2013 in Tunis following the approval of US$ 184.79 (UA120.37)* million by the Board of Directors of the African Development Bank Group (AfDB).
11/10/2013 - The Board of Directors of the African Development Bank Group on Wednesday, October 9, 2013, approved a grant of US $7.5 million to finance the COMESA-EAC-SADC Tripartite Capacity Building Programme (TCBP).
