Le Groupe de la BAD soutient les reformes économique en Afrique centrale

09-Aug-2012 - Le Groupe de la Banque africaine de développement (BAD) et le gouvernement de la République centrafricaine (RCA) ont signé, mardi à Tunis, un accord de don de 16 millions d’unités de compte, soit environ 24 millions de dollars, pour le financement du programme d’appui aux réformes économiques. Cet appui budgétaire en soutien aux réformes, le troisième du genre, vise à consolider et améliorer les réformes et la gouvernance dans les secteurs public et privé conformément à la stratégie en cours de la BAD en RCA.

AfDB Funds Capacity Building in Managing for Results

08-Aug-2012 - The African Development Bank (AfDB), on Tuesday in Tunis, provided USD 14 million as its contribution to the financing of knowledge component of the multinational project for building capacity in managing for results in the Regional Member Countries and Regional Economic Communities. The grant agreement was signed by AfDB Acting Operations Vice-President, Lobé Ndoumbe and African Capacity Building Foundation (ACBF) Learning and Knowledge head, Kobena Hanson.

AfDB Group Project Approvals for 2012 so Far Total USD 3.45 Billion

24-Jul-2012 - The African Development Bank Group has made project approvals of approximately USD 3.45 billion, or Units of Account (UA) 2.27 billion, during the year 2012 so far. In total, 52 projects were approved up to 18 July 2012. The African Development Bank part of the Group made approvals totalling some UA 1.055 billion, or about USD 1.6 billion. while the African Development Fund (ADF), the Group’s concessional or ‘soft loan’ arm was the source of finance for UA 943.6 million or USD 1.43 billion worth of project approvals.

This contribution will allow BPI SA to increase access to finance and capacity building for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) within various sectors in the southern Africa sub-region, thereby boosting income generation and job creation.
