15/05/2015 - The African Development Bank (AfDB), in partnership with the Climate Investment Funds (CIF) and the Government of Mali, has launched the Renewable Energy in Africa: Mali Country Profile. The publication, released on May 7, highlights the country’s current inroads in renewable energy as well as opportunities for scaling-up the sector. The profile is the first in a series for Africa.

19/12/2014 - The African Development Bank’s (AfDB) extremely rapid intervention in Mali after a first case of Ebola was detected has halted the spread of the epidemic in the country.

“The AfDB support, both in the preparation and the response phases, was exceptional in its speed and the level of resources mobilized,” said Ibrahima Fall Socé, head of the UN Mission for emergency action against Ebola in Mali.

17/12/2014 - Le Conseil d'administration du Groupe de la Banque africaine de développement (BAD) a approuvé, ce 17 décembre 2014, un prêt de quelque 6,4 milliards de FCFA et un don de 5 milliards de FCFA environ, prélevés sur les ressources du Fonds africain de développement (FAD). Cette aide financière en faveur de la République du Mali est destinée à financer le Programme d’appui d'urgence à la gouvernance et à la reprise économique (PAUGRE).
