En marge des 45e Assemblées annuelles du Groupe de la Banque africaine de développement (BAD), qui se tiennent depuis le 27 mai 2010 à Abidjan, a eu la signature d’un accord de don d’environ 15 millions USD portant financement du troisième programme d’appui aux réformes économiques (PARE III) entre la Banque et la République de Burundi.

25-Jun-2010 - African Development Bank (AfDB) Group President, Donald Kaberuka, will participate in the G-20 leaders meeting in Toronto from 26-27 June 2010. At the institution’s recent Annual Meetings in Abidjan, Côte d’Ivoire, in May 2010, Mr. Kaberuka was re-elected as the institution’s president for a second five-year term. As with previous G-20 Summits, Mr. Kaberuka will attend in his capacity as a member of the African Union delegation.

Central to these discussions was the presentation of the results of an evaluation study of French donations to the two windows of the AfDB Group, the African Development Fund (ADF) and the African Development Bank (AfDB). The exchanges also helped to deepen the cooperation between the AfDB Group and AFD.

28-May-2010 - La Banque africaine de développement (BAD) souhaite compenser le handicap que subit le commerce intra-africain en raison des coûts exorbitants des transports, qui s’élèvent à 60% des coûts d’importations et d’exportations.
C’est ce que déclaré, vendredi 28 mai 2010, à Abidjan, M.Ali Kies, nouveau directeur du département de l’eau et de la Facilité africaine de l’eau et ancien chef de la division des transports du département de l’infrastructure de la BAD.

La Banque africaine de développement (BAD), dans le cadre de ses Assemblées annuelles à Abidjan, a signé un protocole d’accord portant sur un montant d’environ 41 millions USD le 28 mai 2010 avec la République Démocratique du Congo (RDC), pour le projet d’interconnexion des réseaux électriques des pays des lacs équatoriaux du Nil.
La RDC était représentée par son ministre des Finances Matata Mapon.

Abidjan, le 27 mai 2010- La BAD a octroyé jeudi 27 mai 2010 un don d’une valeur de 12,9 millions USD au gouvernement de l’Etat de l’Erythrée, au terme de la signature d’une convention de subvention pour appuyer le développement des ressources humaines du pays dans le secteur de l’enseignement supérieur.
