Bank Group Participates in Discussions on Greenbelt
14-Feb-2008 - The Bank Group participated in a two-day meeting of experts and the ministerial conference on the great greenbelt and the inland basin project, which took place from February 12-13, 2008, in Saly Portudal, Senegal. Speaking on the occasion, Mr. Kaberuka said the continent was recording some interesting growth numbers, adding that there were greater prospects for growth as international demand for commodities was rising and macroeconomic stability was being consolidated across the continent.
