President Kaberuka Hits the Road: Continues Visit to Swaziland
President Donald Kaberuka continued his African tour today in Mbabane where he held discussions with officials and visited a project funded by the African Development Bank Group as part of his official trip to Swaziland.
He met with Prime Minister A.T. Dlamini, the Minister of Finance, Mr. Majozi Sithole, the Minister of Public Works and Transport, Mr. Elijah Shongwe and other senior officials.
The President visited the HIV/AIDS Voluntary Counseling Centre at the Mbabane Government Hospital as well as the Ngwenya-Mbabane Bypass Road, part of a regional infrastructure project funded by the Bank. A cocktail in honour of the President and his delegation was offered by the Deputy Prime Minister, Mr. Albert Shabangu.
He is scheduled to meet with members of the diplomatic corps and donor community in Mbabane and will be received by his Majesty, King Mswati III before he leaves Mbabane on Thursday.
