06/10/2017 - The Islamic Development Bank (IsDB) and the Association for the Development of Education in Africa (ADEA) have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) in Jeddah (Saudi Arabia) related to the cooperation in the education sector in Africa. The objective of the MoU is to support common Member Countries achieve the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and Africa’s Agenda 2063.
02/12/2013 - The Heads of Procurement (HoP) of the Multilateral Development Banks (MDBs) met in Islamic Development Bank (IsDB) Headquarters in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, November 10-13, 2013 to deliberate on selected topics relating to procurement activities of the MDBs.
04/05/2012 - The Bank’s Governor for Saudi Arabia, Engineer Yousef I. Al-Bassam has called on AfDB to forge a strong working relationship with the Saudi Fund for Development and Arab Bank for Economic Development in Africa (BADEA). The Governor made the call recently while in Lusaka to sign a $12 million loan for the Kalabo, Sikongo-Angola Border Road Project. The Governor signed the loan with the Zambian Minister of Finance and AfDB Governor, Honorable Alexander Chikwanda.
