19/10/2017 - The African Development Bank (AfDB) and OpenOil, a Berlin-based financial analysis firm, have jointly produced a report on how African governments use financial models to manage oil & gas and mining projects. The report was launched at the 13th Annual General Meeting of the Intergovernmental Forum on Mining, Minerals, Metals and Sustainable Development (IGF) in Geneva, Switzerland.

20/03/2015 - La Banque africaine de développement (BAD) a pris une part active au deuxième et dernier jour d’Africa CEO Forum qui s’est achevé le mardi 17 mars 2015 à Genève, avec les interventions de Solomon Asamoah, vice-président, Infrastructures, Secteur privé et Intégration régionale et de Kodeidja Diallo, directrice du Département du Secteur privé. Ils sont intervenus respectivement dans les panels sur « Doing Business en Afrique : les clés d’une (nécessaire) révolution » et « Accélérer la diversification des sources de financement du secteur privé africain ».

“Africa's new economic environment” is the theme of the 2015 Africa CEO Forum that will take place on March 16-17, 2015 in Geneva. The meeting, which is co-organised by the African Development Bank (AfDB) and the Paris-based magazine group, Jeune Afrique, will focus primarily on development priorities of African businesses.
22/01/2015 - On Thursday, January 22 in Davos, Switzerland, the African Development Bank (AfDB) and MasterCard announced a broad collaboration that aims to expand financial inclusion across the African continent. The collaboration seeks to develop solutions that drive inclusive growth in Africa by broadening access and usage of digital financial services.
21/03/2014 - After three days of intensive and productive discussion, the Africa CEO Forum 2014 closed at midday on Wednesday, March 19 in Geneva. Organized by Groupe Jeune Afrique, in partnership with the African Development Bank (AfDB) and Rainbow Unlimited, this was second meeting of African private sector leaders. Over 700 employers, banks, investors, ministers and journalists took part in discussing the big economic questions in Africa.
18/03/2014 - The Africa CEO Forum 2014, one of the most important gatherings of African business leaders officially opened in Geneva on Monday, March 17. The three-day event closes on Wednesday. Organized by the publishing house Groupe Jeune Afrique in partnership with the African Development Bank (AfDB), the second Africa CEO Forum boasted “680 participants, speakers and journalists from more than 38 countries.”
