Established in London in 2005 as a G8 Gleneagles Summit commitment, the Infrastructure Consortium for Africa is a tripartite relationship between G8 bilateral donors, major multilateral agencies and African institutions, intended to make its members more effective at supporting infrastructure in Africa by pooling efforts in key areas. The ICA serves as a networking body for participating donors to work together in support of Africa’s efforts to provide infrastructure on the continent. The Secretariat of the ICA is hosted by the African Development Bank Group in Tunis, Tunisia.
