Workshop on Results Based Regional Training Framework
The Bank’s official representative in Cote d’Ivoire, Sangbe Ngardinga, opened on Monday, in Abidjan, a regional training workshop for directors and staff involved in agriculture and rural development projects on the theme "Logical Results Based Framework".
Some 24 participants from Benin, Guinea, Mali, and Chad are participating in the workshop organized by the African Development Institute and conducted by Mr. Kone Mamadou.
The training aims to reinforcing the teams involved in agricultural projects for efficient and effective execution of agricultural operations co-financed by the Bank, and concerned governments. The objective is to enable participants master the various aspects of the projects they are in charge of, and to improve performance indicators.
According to the organizers, the workshop will allow participants to share experiences and analyze the challenges posed by the projects in order to prepare a training module for appropriate short and long-term training.
Speaking during the opening ceremony, Mr. Ngardinga underscored the importance of the training as the workshop’s theme reflected the Bank’s orientation toward results based management. He expressed the hope that the workshop will achieve the ultimate goal of knowledge sharing for the benefit of all participants. The workshop will end on April 18.
