This paper aims to analyze the effect of access to basic services on child health in Togo. We use the structural equation model (SEM) to take account of the possible interdependencies between child health and basic service capabilities, and settle endogeneity issues. The results indicate that access to basic services improves children’s health by reducing the probability of occurrence of illness (malaria and diarrhoea). Le présent document constitue le résumé des Etudes d’Impact Environnemental et Social (ÉIES) du Projet constitué des deux principales composantes relatives au projet de Route et de protection de la cote togolaise contre l’érosion. L’ÉIES pour les travaux routiers Avépozo Aného est intégrée aux études de 428 km au Togo et a été élaborée en 2012. L’EIES pour les travaux de protections côtières a été élaborée en 2014 et actualisée en juin 2016. Les composantes du projet au Bénin ne consistent qu’en des études seulement.
