“Knowledge and Innovation Exchange” launches to share information on COVID-19 responses in Africa’s schools

The Association for the Development of Education in Africa (ADEA) and the African Union’s International Centre for Girls’ and Women’s Education in Africa (CIEFFA) will hold a virtual event on 17 November for the launch of a one-stop shop to gather, synthesize and mobilize information about COVID-19 responses in the primary and secondary school systems of 41 African countries.

Moody’s Investor Service affirms African Development Bank’s AAA credit rating

Moody’s Investor Service has affirmed the African Development Bank’s AAA credit rating, with a stable outlook.

“The credit profile of African Development Bank (AfDB) is supported by the bank’s robust capital buffers and superior risk management, which mitigate risks,” Moody’s Investor Service said in an annual credit analysis dated 27 October 2020. 

Ghana, African Development Bank Group sign MOU for 2021 Annual Meetings

Ghana, the host country of the African Development Bank Group’s 2021 Annual Meetings, signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the institution on Friday, marking an important milestone in preparations for the event.

The 56th Annual Meetings of the African Development Bank and the 47th Annual Meeting of the African Development Fund  are scheduled to take place from 24 to 28 May 2021, in Ghana’s capital city, Accra.
